History of BMW M5 E61 (Touring)
The BMW M5 E61 was unveiled in 2007 at the Geneva Motor Show.
It was the first touring car in the history of the M5 series. The touring version was equipped with the same V10 engine with a capacity of 5.0 liters as the sedan.
This engine produced an impressive power of 507 horsepower and a torque of 520 Nm.
The BMW M5 E61 was available in two equipment versions: standard and Competition.
The Competition version was additionally equipped with lowered suspension, reinforced brakes, and other modifications known from the M series, enhancing performance and driving comfort.
Production of the BMW M5 E61 concluded in 2010. In total, around 12,000 units of this model were produced.
